JSSC Recruitment 2017: Apply Online For Lower Division Clerk And Stenographer Posts

New Delhi: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has begun online application process for Intermediate Standard (Computer Knowledge and Hindi Typing) Common Competitive Exam 2017. The recruitment process is for Lower Division Clerical posts in various departments, Stenographer, and Panchayat Secretary. The online application process began today. Candidates are required to complete the initial registration process on the JSSC website. The commission will conduct a Preliminary and Main exam plus computer knowledge and typing test and stenography test for candidates who fulfill the eligibility requirements. 

Important Dates

Commencement of initial registration: May 2, 2017
End of initial registration: June 9, 2017
Last date for payment of application fee: June 15, 2017

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the recruitment exam must have completed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board of education. 
The lower age limit for applying to the pots is 18 years.
The upper age limit for unreserved category candidates is 35 years, for Backward classes and OBC candidates is 37 years, for SC and ST candidates is 40 years and for female, Backward classes and OBC  candidates who are also natives of Jharkhand state the upper age limit is 38 years. 

How to Apply

To apply you can login to the JSSC official website: http://jssc.in/ and apply through the link which says "Online Application for IS (CKHT) CCE 2017".

You will first have to register after which you will receive a registration number and password on your registered number. You can complete your application form using these login details. 

Application Fee Payment

After successful completion of application form, you will need to pay application fee. To pay application fee follow the steps given below:

Step one: Go to SBI online website: www.onlinesbi.com
Step two: Click on 'State Bank Collect' link. 
Step three: Accept the terms and conditions and click on proceed. You will be redirected to a new page. 
Step four: In the new window, in front of State of corporate/institution select "Jharkhand Select". Then select "Govt. Department Select" in front of Type of Corporate/Institution and click on Go button.
Step five: In the new page, select 'Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission' in front of Govt. Department Name and click on submit.
Step six: Next, in the payment category select 'IS (CKHT) CCE 2017 Select'. Eneter your registration number and make payment.

Only after successfully paying application fee will you be able to upload your photograph and signature in the online application form and take a print out of the same.
