Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2017: Apply For 30 Second Division Assistant Posts

New Delhi: High Court of Karnataka has released the official notification for recruitment of eligible candidates on the post of Second Division Assistant. The recruitment drive is being held for a total of 30 posts. The application process will be online only. The last date to apply is May 15, 2017. Applicants would be selected for the post on the basis of a written test and viva voce. The candidates who are successful in the selection procedure and are appointed as Second Division Assistant will be on a period of probation for two years. 

Educational Eligibility

Applicant should have a degree in Science or Arts or Commerce  or Business Management or Computer Applications from a recognized University with minimum 55%  marks for general category candidates and 50% marks for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe.

Applicant should have knowledge of computer operations and must possess a certificate in computer basics issued by a recognized institute.

Age Limit

Candidate should be minimum 18 years old.

In case of General category candidates, 35 years is the upper age limit. For SC/ ST/ category I of Backward Classes, the upper age limit is 40 years and for candidates belonging to category II-A or II-B or III-A or III-B of Backward Classes, the upper age limit is 38 years.

The lower and upper age will be calculated as on the last date of application process, that is May 15. 

Application Process

Interested applicants can apply for the posts through Karnataka High Court's official website (http://karnatakajudiciary.kar.nic.in/). On the home page click on the recruitment tab and you will be able to access the online application form.

The application fee can be paid online or through a challan. The application fee for general candidates and other Backward classes other than SC/ ST/ Category-I and Physically Handicapped candidates is Rs. 250. The application fee for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Category-I/ Physically Handicapped is Rs. 100. The last date to submit fee challan in bank is May 19, 2017.
