
Lok Sabha Junior Clerk Recruitment Prelims Exam On 8 October 2017, Download Admit Card

Parliament of India, Lok Sabha Secretariat Junior Clerk recruitment preliminary examination will be held on 8 October 2017. Admit cards have been released at the official website loksabha.nic.in. The examination will be held in Delhi. A total of 122506 will appear for the examination against 31 vacancies. However, in the job notification, earlier the joint recruitment cell had stated that Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai will be considered as exam cities if more numbers of candidates apply from those cities. Selected candidates will be in the pay matrix (in the Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200 (PB-1)+Grade Pay:Rs. 2400 (pre-revised)).
The preliminary exam, which is scheduled to be held on 8 October, will comprise of questions from general knowledge and current affairs and general English, each of which will be of 50 marks. Candidates will be allowed 50 minutes in total for the exam.
'The Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying examination. Only those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in each component and aggregate in the Preliminary Examination will be called for the Main Examination. The marks secured by the candidates in the Preliminary Examination will not be counted while preparing the final selection list.'
On the exam day, candidates shall have to take self-attested/attested recent passport size photograph (in original) along with their call letter. Candidate must also carry a valid photo ID proof such as PAN Card/Passport/Voter ID Card/Driving Licence/Aadhaar Card/Permanent Identity Card issued by a University/College or any other valid proof of identification having a latest photograph.
