New Delhi: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Technical Staff and Operatives in various trades in Skilled & Semi-skilled grades for appointment on Contract Basis for a maximum period of two years. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application online, details of which are available at the official website of mazdock.com. A total of 985 vacancies are open for recruitment for HSC, SSC pass, Class 8 pass and diploma candidates with ITI and NAC certified candidates.
Out of the total vacancies, 40 vacancies reserved PWD identified for all trades except Electric Crane Operator, Diesel Crane Operator, Rigger, Laskar, Security Sepoy, Fire Fighter, & Utility Hand (semi-skilled). 'The candidates who have worked as Fitter, Utility Hand- Skilled ,Structural fabricator, Pipe Fitter, Rigger, Chipper Grinder, Compressor Attendant, Electric Crane Operator & Diesel Crane Operator in MDL/Shipbuilding industry for minimum one year having passed NAC in different trades may apply directly to such trade,' reads the official notification.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, experience in shipbuilding industry and trade test. The candidates shortlisted for Trade Test are required to take submit the application form along with all the relevant documents to the Recruitment cell, on the date and time they are called for Trade Test.
