Clerical Recruitment At National Institute of Epidemiology, Chennai; Check Details

New Delhi: National Institute of Epidemiology, Chennai has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Upper Division Clerk and Lower Division Clerk. Candidates having a graduate degree in any discipline are eligible to apply. 10+2 pass candidates can also apply for the post. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications on or before 18 December 2017. Applications must be submitted to the Director-in-Charge, National Institute of Epidemiology, Second Main Road, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Ayapakkam, Chennai - 600 077.

Eligibility Criteria
Upper Division Clerk: Graduates with typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on Computer and in the age group of 18-27 years can apply.
Lower Division Clerk: 10+2 pass candidates with typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on Computer and in the age group of 18-27 years can apply.

Selection Process
NIE will shortlist candidates for the written test in which the qualifying marks will be 50% for UR and OBC and 40% for SC/ ST/ PH candidates. Selected candidates shall be called for Typing test, which will be qualifying only. Final selection will be based on the performance in the Written Test. Admission to written test however does not guarantee selection of candidates.
