NIOS Recruitment 2017 For Stenographer, Training Officer Post

New Delhi: National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer and Training Officer (Humanities/ Social Science) on direct recruitment basis. A total of 2 vacancies are available; 1 for each post. Before submitting the application candidates must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria set by NIOS. The posts carry All India transfer liability and the 'crucial date for determining eligibility with regard to age limit, qualification and experience will be the last date for receipt of applications.' Eligibility Criteria
Stenographer: Candidates must have an educational qualification of senior secondary and Certificate/ Diploma in Secretarial Practice and Speed in shorthand in English/Hindi @ 80 w.p.m. with computer speed of 8000 key depression per hour.

Training Officer (Humanities/ Social Science): Candidates must have an educational qualification of Master's Degree with 55% or its equivalent grade and Minimum two years experience in imparting training / development of instructional material for training programmes in Distance Education Institution/ Technical Institute preferably under Central/State Govt. or Central/State Govt. Autonomous organization/ University/recognized institute. Applicants must also have good working knowledge of Computer Operations along with knowledge of English and Hindi.
