NTPC Recruitment 2017 For 69 Posts, Apply Now
National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to ITI Trainees, Assistant Trainees and Lab Assistant Trainees post. A total of 69 vacancies are available for recruitment. NTPC seeks job applications from ITI passouts, Chemistry graduates and those with NCVT in Storekeeping. The recruitment will be for NTPC Lara, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Applicants should note that those who have obtained the graduate degree through distance mode are not eligible to apply. NTPC will select candidates on the basis of their performance in the written test and skill test. Written test will be held at Raipur, BIlaspur and Raigarh in March 2018. Exact date of the exam will be notified to the registered candidates. The exam question paper will be bilingual and will comprise of two sections. The first section will carry 70 questions related to the discipline; the other section will consist of 50 questions from general awareness, quantitative aptitude and reasoning.
In September 2017, NTPC had notified for the Executive Trainee recruitment. NTPC will recruit executive trainees in the engineering disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Mining. The application process will begin in January 2018 and candidates willing to apply to NTPC should make sure to apply for GATE 2018 and sit for the exam which will be conducted in February 2018. Candidates would be shortlisted for appearing in an Online Aptitude Test based on their GATE 2018 score. Further based on the performance in the online aptitude test, candidates would be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates would need to secure minimum qualifying marks each in Group Discussion and Interview separately to be considered for merit list.
