Rajasthan RAS/ RTS Combined Competitive Examination 2016: Final Result Declared

New Delhi: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has declared the final result for the RAS/ RTS Combined Competitive Examination 2016 otherwise known as the Rajasthan State & Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Exam 2016. A total of 1731 candidates have been declared successful. For the result, that was declared yesterday in the evening, marks have been released. Candidates can check their result at the official website of the Commission at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. 

The Commission has also released the marks of the candidates now. Marks obtained in the examination can be checked using roll number and date of birth as entries.

RPSC had begun the recruitment process for a total of 725 administrative and allied services in April 2016. Close to 3.1 lakh candidates registered for the preliminary phase of the examination which was held in February 2017. Close to 15000 candidates qualified the preliminary phase and were declared qualified for the main examination. 4592 candidates cleared the main exam and were selected for the interview which began in August 2017. The main exam was held in July.

The preliminary exam comprised of General Knowledge & General Science questions carry a total of 200 marks. The main exam was of descriptive/analytical nature and consisted of questions from general studies (I, II and III), general Hindi and general English.

'The Commission shall award marks to each candidate interviewed by them. In interviewing the candidates besides awarding marks in respect of character, personality, address, physique, marks shall also be awarded for the candidate's knowledge of Rajasthani culture,' the Commission had mentioned in the official notification regarding interview process.
