RRC Group D 2019 recruitment process will officially begin today

RRC Group D 2019: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will activate the application link for RRC Group D posts today. It will be available on the official RRB websites after 5 pm today. Though on visiting the RRB websites, candidates can find an application link, they would also find that the link is 'under maintenance. Candidates should not fret since the link will be available on its time and so far there has been no notice of any delay in RRC Group D 2019 recruitment.

The application link for RRC Group D 2019 recruitment shows 'under maintenance' message

RRC Group D/ RRB Group D 2019 recruitment is Indian Railway's biggest recruitment yet in last two years. Although Railway has announced several recruitment starting from February 2018, none had as many vacancies as RRC Group D.

When we say the biggest recruitment, we are talking about 1,03,769 vacancies. Designation-wise breakup of the RRC Group D vacancies is - 14870 posts for Assistant Pointsman, 913 posts for Assistant Bridge, and 40721 posts for Track Maintainer Grade IV.

Anyone who has passed class 10th or ITI from an institute recognized by NCVT/SCVT or has any other equivalent qualification is eligible to apply for their recruitment. Anyone who has completed National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT is also eligible to apply.

The selection process would include a Computer Based Test (CBT), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which will be followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination of the candidates who qualify in PET.

Candidates must make sure that they fulfill the required eligibility, because if not then despite qualifying in the CBT and PET, they will be disqualified from the selection process.
