SAIL To Recruit Management Trainees Through GATE 2018

New Delhi: SAIL a Maharatna CPSE, a major steel maker of the nation with an annual turnover of Rs.49180 Crores (FY2016-17), will recruit Management Trainees (MT) through GATE 2018. To man its frontline positions at its Steel Plants/Mines, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) requires young, energetic, result oriented and promising talent to join as Management Trainee (Technical) in various Engineering disciplines for operation of its plants and mines across India. Candidates interested in applying for SAIL Management Trainee (Technical) in E1 grade are required to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2018 Examination (GATE 2018). 

SAIL proposes to consider candidates appearing in (6) Six Engineering Discipline papers, namely Mechanical Engineering (ME), Metallurgical Engineering (MT), Electrical Engineering (EE), Chemical Engineering (CH), Instrumentation Engineering (IN) and Mining Engineering (MN) in GATE 2018 for recruitment as Management Trainees (Technical). 

The candidates, based on their performance in the GATE-2018 will be short listed for appearing in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview, said a notification published by SAIL in employment news recently.

The interested candidates are advised to visit the Careers page on SAIL website at www.sail.co.in to check the eligibility conditions for the post of SAIL Management Trainees (Technical). 

"It may be noted that a detailed advertisement in this respect would be issued by SAIL at a later stage and the candidates would need to apply online on SAIL website along with their GATE Registration Number and other relevant details by visiting SAIL Careers page at www.sail.co.in," said the notification from SAIL.

Commencement of online application for GATE-2018: September 1, 2017

Last date of online application for GATE-2018: October 5, 2017

Commencement of online Registration for SAIL Management Trainees by candidates: To be declared later
