SBI PO 2017 Prelims: Exam Rules

With barely few days left for the
SBI PO preliminary exam to begin, candidates who have registered for the examination must be all prepared to attempt the same. Candidates who are all set to appear for the SBI PO 2017 preliminary exam must take care of certain important exam day rules, so as not to face any last minute issues. Here are few
preparation tips for the exam. This year, SBI has released
admit card for PO prelims much ahead than the decided date.
SBI PO 2017 Prelims Exam: Rules For ExamineesCandidates,
- Must take photo ID (original and self attested photocopy) to the exam hall; this can be passport/ Aadhaar/ PAN Card/Driving Licence/ Voter's Card/ Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/ Identity Card issued by School or college/ Gazetted Officer in the official letterhead
- Must give thumb impression in digital format for biometric verification of genuineness
- Must refrain from using unfair means during exam, Candidates should note that, "The Bank would be analyzing the responses of a candidate with other appeared candidates to detect patterns of similarity. On the basis of such an analysis, if it is found that the responses have been shared and scores obtained are not genuine / valid, the Bank reserves the right to cancel his/her candidature."
Candidates will have to attempt 100 questions within 1 hour. For each wrong answer, one fourth of the total marks assigned to that particular question will be deducted. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
