SSC CGL 2016 Final Result Has Been Declared Today; CGL 2017 Tier 1 Begins

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the
final result of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam 2016. The Commission, in a recent notification, had mentioned about the time of result declaration. Candidates who will be appearing for the
CGL 2017 tier 1 exam tomorrow (5 August 2017) should take care of the exam guidelines. While Commission has released a detailed notification of the do's and don'ts candidates should go through the details properly before going to the exam centre. The Commission is strict about the dress code, as well.

Candidates can now take the printout of the same till 27 August 2017.

On the basis of the performance in Tier I and Tier II of the SSC CGL 2016 exam, 4796 candidates had qualified for Tier III for Assistant Audit Officer post, 15030 candidates for Assistant Section Officer in CSS and Assistant in MEA, 1254 candidates for Junior Statistical Officer, and 35089 candidates had qualified for Tier III and DEST for all other posts.
Meanwhile the Commission has extended the last date of online registration for
scientific assistant recruitment. Candidates can now submit their applications on or before 14 August 2017 at ssconline.nic.in.
