New Delhi: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be released the results of the SSC CGL tier 1 2017 recruitment exam this month. According to a status report by the commission, the SSC CGL tier 1 exam results are expected to be published on October 31, 2017. Keeping in view of the earlier practices of SSC, the results would be released earlier than the notified date. SSC's Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination, 2017 (Tier-I) was conducted by the commission from August 5 to August 23 for 30,26,599 registered candidates

A total of 15,43,962 candidates appeared in this examination which was conducted in 43 Batches across the Country.

The Commission after the completion of the exam, released the tentative answer keys for inviting challenges from the candidates on September 8, 2017.

SSC CGL 2017 tier 1 exam results will be released on the official website of SSC, ssc.nic.in.

Step One: Go to the official website of SSC, ssc.nic.in
Step Two: Click on the latest results notification of SSC CGL 2017 tier 1 exam.
Step Three: Search your roll numbers on the next page open.

Like last year, the exam was computer-based and had 100 questions carrying two marks each. The exam was consisted of objective questions and candidates who qualify in SSC Tier I will only be eligible for Tier II exam which will be a pen-paper based exam.

"The Commission is seized of the matter that with regard to the examination conducted on 10th August, 2017 (Batch-II) (13.15 Hrs to 14.15 Hrs), the candidates faced problem in viewing one quantitative aptitude question, wherein a part of the question was not visible. The Commission would take appropriate action on this specific issue so as to ensure that no candidate is put to any disadvantage on this account," SSC said regarding some problems faced by candidates in a session conducted on August 10.
