New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has released answer keys of the Special Teachers recruitment exam held on 23 September 2017. Online applications were accepted by the Board will 18 August 2017 for selecting eligible candidates against the vacancies available in Physical Education, Drawing, Music and Sewing subjects. The Board has released answer keys for the exam and candidates have been given a chance to raise objections against the same till 20 October. Considering the objections raised by candidates and upon recommendation from expert panel, TN TRB will release the final answer key later.

"On consideration of such objections, final key answers will be published and the same will be final. No independent orders either accepting or rejecting the objections of the candidates will be passed. Constitution of experts to scrutinize the objections cannot be questioned by the candidates," added the notification.
After the declaration of the written exam result, the Board will call candidates for certificate verification, for which candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:2.
The written exam carried a total of 95 marks and will comprise of questions related to the main subject. Candidates will be allowed 2.5 hours for the exam. The minimum qualifying marks is 40%; (for SC/SCA category -35%, for ST category - 30% marks.
