TSPSC Recruitment 2017: Apply For 90 Forest Section Officer Posts In Telangana

New Delhi: Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has invited application from qualified candidates for the post of Forest Section Officer in Forest Department (EFS&T). The number of vacancies available is 90. The last date to apply through the proforma application available online is September 12, 2017. The recruitment exam will be conducted in October. The commission will announce at a later stage if the exam will be a computer-based one or OMR-based. What is certain is that the exam will be objective type in nature.

Tentative examination date: October 22, 2017
Hall-ticket availability: A week prior to the exam

Eligibility

Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Botany or Forestry or Horticulture or Zoology or Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics or Statistics or Geology or Agriculture as a subject or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering from a recognized University or any other equivalent degree.

The lower age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 31 years as on July 1, 2017.

Application Process

Before applying for the posts, candidates will need to register themselves as per the One Time Registration (OTR) through the Official Website of TSPSC. Those who have already registered in OTR already can apply by logging in to their profile using their TSPSC ID and Date of Birth as provided in OTR.

The selection will be based on a computer-based/OMR based test, Walking test and Medical test. The commission has also invited application from eligible candidates for Forest Beat Officers.
