UGC NET Result 2018: Know How To Check
New Delhi: CBSE has declared the UGC NET result 2018. The result is available on the official website cbsenet.nic.in. The exam for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship was conducted in online mode on July 8, 2018 at 91 cities across the country. 'The role of CBSE is only upto the conduct of NET Examination and declaration of result. The e-certificates to qualified candidate are issued by UGC- NET Bureau,' clarifies CBSE about the UGC NET result.
CBSE has confirmed the UGC NET result date.
CBSE will select top 6% of the total candidates who have appeared for both the papers and scored more than 40% in aggregate.
UGC NET 2018 Result: How To Check
CBSE will not inform candidates individually about the result. Instead, the result will be declare in the form of the .pdf file and candidates have to check their result using their roll number/ registration number.
UGC NET 2018 Marks
CBSE will release the marks of the candidates soon after the declaration of UGC NET result. 'The marks of all the candidates will be uploaded on CBSE website cbsenet.nic.in soon after declaration of result. Besides this, CBSE will not issue any marks sheet to qualified/non qualified candidates,' reads the official notification.
The result will be declared after considering the answer key challenges given by candidates. The board had released the answer key and recorded responses and had invited challenge on the same till July 27.
Contrary to last years' pattern, candidates appeared for two papers this year for UGC NET instead of three. Time was, however, reduced by 15 minutes for paper 1 and many students complained that the time was not enough to finish answering 50 questions.
