New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has notified the UPSC CDS (II) 2017 examination process today and the application can be filled till September 8. UPSC Combined Defence Services (CDS) II examination will be conducted by the commission on November 19, 2017 for admission to various courses in Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad and Officers' Training Academy, Chennai. This latest UPSC CDS (II) notification also covers the co SSC Women (Non-Technical) course commencing in October, 2018 at Officers' Training Academy, Chennai.
According to the notification, all the four institutes will be admitting candidates for 414 vacancies.
Indian Military Academy, Dehradun has 100 vacancies for its 145th course commencing in July, 2018 which include 13 vacancies reserved for NCC 'C' Certificate (Army Wing) holders while Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala has 45 vacancies for course commencing in July, 2018 Executive (General Service) which include 6 vacancies reserved for NCC 'C' Certificate holders (Naval Wing)].
Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in August, 2018 has 32 vacancies and Officers' Training Academy, Chennai's 108th SSC Course (NT) (For Men) commencing in October next year has 225 (including 50 vacancies for NCC 'C' certificate holders for NCC Spl. Entry).
Officers Training Academy, Chennai's SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in October, 2018 will take 12 candidates in this process.
According to the notification from UPSC, the candidates applying for the UPSC CDS (II) examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination.
UPSC CDS II 2016 final result was announced on June this year.
