New Delhi:
It seems, every job seeking candidate, has a greater probability of appearing for an exam scheduled on 18 June 2017. Starting with the much coveted
UPSC Civil Services (prelims), many other top notch recruiting organisations, are conducting the written test/ online test on the same day. With so many exams lined up on the same day, candidates should take care of certain important things like, reaching the exam centre on time!
Top exams in the line are Civil Services Preliminary exam,
SBI Special Management Executive recruitment, ICAI Common Proficiency Test,
CSIR UGC JRF/ Lectureship Exam.
For an instance, Bengaluru city, which is in news frequently for traffic congestion, will witness all the four examinations on 18 June 2017. Except being a Sunday, there are no other reasons to deny the commutation issue that students are likely to face.
The peak traffic time will most probably be between 8 am - 2 pm, as the examinations will be held in forenoon and afternoon sessions.
Students, therefore, should start heading for the exam venue ahead of time. Read the instructions given on the admit card. Usually students are required to reach 15-20 minutes before the examination begins. A grace time period of 10 minutes (maximum) is also allowed. 'You will not be admitted to the examination if you report 10 minutes after the scheduled commencement of the examination,' says the
Union Public Service Commission for Civil services preliminary exam.
The instruction guidelines are never complete without mentioning of the 'debarred' items. Candidates should take care of 'what not to' carry to the examination hall. Mobile Phones, Calculators, IT Gadgets and any other Communication device such as Bluetooth etc. are not allowed inside the exam hall.
