UPSC IFS Main Admit Card Released @ Upsc.gov.in; Download Now
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has uploaded the Indian Forest Service (IFS) main examination admit card on the official website of the public sector recruiter. The UPSC IFS main examination is scheduled to be held on December this year. The IFS examination is consisted of two successive stages; Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination; and (ii) Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service. UPSC had declared
prelims results in July this year.
Candidates who are declared by the Commission to have qualified for admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) examination had been asked to apply again, in the Online Detailed Application Form which would be made available on the Website of the Commission after declaration of Results of Preliminary Examination.
The UPSC IFS main examination will be held on the following Centres : Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.
The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 110.
UPSC IFS Main Admit Card: Important points to rememberCheck the e-Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of UPSC immediately.
Bring this e-Admit Card (Print out) in each session to secure admission to Examination Hall. e-Admit Card may be preserved till the declaration of written result .
The candidate is responsible for safe custody of the e-Admit Card and in the event of any other person using this e-Admit Card , the onus lies on you to prove that you have not used the service of any impersonator.
Candidate must enter the Examination Hall 20 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination.
Use of Scientific (Non-Programmable type) Calculators is allowed and if considered necessary may be brought by candidates. Programmable type calculators are,however, not allowed in this examination.
Possession/Use of Mobile Phones and other Electronics/Communication devices is banned in the examination premises.
For conventional (essay-type) Papers, a candidate must note that they should strictly answer all parts and sub-parts of a question in the question Cum Answer (QCA) booklet in the space provided under each question part in the (QCA) booklet.
Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the e-admit card will have to bring a photo identity proof viz. Adhar Card, Driving Licence, Passport,Voter I Card etc. and two passport size photographs one for each session for appearing in the examination with an undertaking.
