UPSC Recruitment Test For The Posts Of Enforcement Officer And Accounts Officer At EPFO

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the recruitment test details for 257 posts of enforcement officer/ accounts officer in Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) under the ministry of labour and employment. The recruitment test will be conducted on Sunday, February 26. UPSC has published the notification for the posts on June 4, 2016 and the online application was closed on June 26 last year.

Examination Pattern in the UPSC recruitment test for Enforcement Officer and Accounts Officer at EPFO

The test will be of two hours and the medium of the exam will be both Hindi and English. The exam will be of objective type questions with multiple choices of answers. The exam will carry a maximum of 100 marks and all questions will be of equal marks. There is option of negative marking in the examination. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one third of the marks assigned to that question, however, unanswered questions will not attract penalty.

Syllabus in the UPSC recruitment test for Enforcement Officer and Accounts Officer at EPFO

The examination will cover the following topics: General English, Indian Freedom Struggle, Current Events and Developmental Issues, Indian Polity and Economy, General Accounting Principles, Industrial Relations and Labour Laws, General Science & Knowledge of Computer Applications, General Mental Ability & Quantitative Aptitude and Social Security in India.

Candidates are advised to bring the notification of instructions to the test hall for reference, said a notice posted in the Union Public Service Commission website. Candidates are also advised to reach the exam venue 20 minutes before the Scheduled commencement of the test with their e admit cards. Candidates will not be admitted to the test if the candidate report 10 minutes after the scheduled commencement of the test, said the notification.
