New Delhi: Admit cards for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2017 is likely to be released soon. The exam conducting body, Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Parishad has closed the online registration portal for registering for the exam. Today was the last day for downloading the corrected application form; only those candidates who had made corrections to their application through online mode only were allowed to download their application form till 6 pm today. Since the online registration process has been over, it is likely that the Board may download the admit cards soon.
UPTET 2016 result was declared in March 2017.
In another news development Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath approved changes in the appointment process of primary school teachers making written examination compulsory for aspirants. Only those candidates who have cleared TET (Teacher's Eligibility Test) exam will be eligible for the written exam, he said further. Minister for Basic Education Anupama Jaiswal said 1.37 lakh primary teachers will be appointed through this new process.
UPTET 2017 will comprise of an objective type question paper and there will be two papers: one for teachers for class 1 to 5 and one for class 6 to 8.
Details of the exam date, venue and other important instructions relevant for the examination will be notified by the Board on its official website. Candidates who have registered for the examination are suggested to regularly monitor the official website for timely updates in this regard.
