WBTET 2017: Last Date To Apply Online Today; Apply At Wbbpe.org
New Delhi:
The last date to complete West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WBTET) is today, that is October 29, 2017. The exam is being conducted for filling up around 30,000 vacancies in primary schools across West Bengal state. The West Bengal Primary Education Board (WBPEB) will allow only such candidates who have completed two year teachers' training programme and secured at least 50 per cent marks in Higher Secondary examination to appear for WBTET.
Candidates must have completed higher secondary or senior secondary or its equivalent with 50% marks and have done either 2 year D.El.Ed. course or 4 year B.El.Ed. course. Those with a Diploma in Special Education recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) can also apply.
All such candidates with a graduation degree and a two year D.El.Ed. degree can also apply.
The board has allowed a 5% relaxation in marks in Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or any equivalent qualification to SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PH, Exempted Category, Ex-servicemen, and Death-in-Harness (DH) category candidates.
The
minimum eligibility should have been obtained before the date of the notification, that is, October 9, 2017.
How to Apply?Step one: Go to any one of the following websites: www.wbbpe.org, www.wbsed.gov.in.
Step two: Click on 'Online Application for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)-2017 (Primary) for classes I-V'.
Step three: Generate login id and password and then login to your account.
Step four: Get a printout of the application form before final submission.
Step five: pay application fee and download the final application form with e-paid stamp.
The application fee is Rs. 25 for SC, ST and PH categories and Rs. 100 for all other categories.
