Kanpur:
The principal of a private college in Kanpur was shot by two unknown assailants early this morning. While the attack killed her driver, she has been hospitalised with bullet injuries.
Saroj Kumar Shukla was travelling with her driver Rajesh in her car when two unknown assailants overtook them on a motorbike and fired on them in Kanpur's Kalyanpuri area at around 6:30 am this morning.
The driver of the car Rajesh died on the spot while Saroj Kumar Shukla was rushed to the Regency Hospital in Kanpur.
Saroj Kumar Shukla is the principal of a private college the Shivli Degree College in the Ramabai Nagar district.
