Kanpur:
Two men were today arrested for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in Chakeri area of Kanpur.
The accused, Krishna and Raj Kumar, are employees in the school where the girl studied.
The girl, a class XI student, stays with her parents in the quarters in the school campus, where her mother is an employee, Chakeri Police Station In-Charge Rajiv said.
The accused arrived at the girl's room on Wednesday night, when her father was not present, and sent her mother outside for some work, the police official said.
The duo then allegedly raped the girl and left the house after threatening her not to disclose the incident to anyone, he said.
The girl, however, told her mother, who informed the school's teachers today.
The girl and her mother then filed a complaint against the accused, leading to their arrest, the official said.
The girl has been sent for medical examination and the matter is being probed, he added.
