Kanpur: A woman was killed and another seriously injured today when a powerful blast took place in a house in Colonelganj area, police said.
The blast occurred at the house of Chote Mian at around 10 am, killing Rana Khatoon and injuring another woman, they said.
Meanwhile, a team of Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) was called to probe the matter after particles of gunpowder were found from the blast site, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Amitabh Yash said.
