Kanpur: In Kanpur, a 21-year-old girl, suffering from blood cancer for the past nine years, has moved court with a euthanasia plea. She took this decision as she is running out of funds to undergo weekly blood transfusions.
The only treatment for her condition is bone marrow transplant which costs around Rs 20 lakh.
She has written to Prime Minister and Chief Minister for help, but hasn't got any yet. The court will hear her plea tomorrow.
