Chitradurga:
Eleven persons were killed and 15 injured when a tempo in which they were travellingcollided with a lorry at Iddalanagenahalli near Hiriyur, police said.
While seven persons, including two women, died on the spot, four succumbed at the Chitradurga government hospital,police said.
All those in the vehicle were proceeding to Hiduskatte village to attend a function when the mishap occurred, theysaid.
The lorry driver has been arrested and the vehicle seized.
