A 17-year-old student from Bangalore committed suicide by coming before a running train in Belgaum on Monday.According to the police, Ashish M R was a resident of Malleswaram.
Ashish was a voracious reader and spent most of his time reading in library. He allegedly missed classes to spend time at the library and feared that his teachers would complain about his habit to his parents. He reportedly went missing from his house on December 16, the police said.
Investigation revealed that Ashish was in Maharashtra while he was missing. On Monday, Ashish had called his mother from Belgaum. She had advised him to return home and he had agreed. However, Ashish came before Goa-Nizamuddin Express and ended his life. Police found the body of the deceased on Tuesday.
