Bengaluru: Four people were arrested in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday in connection with the murder of Bajrang Dal activist Prashant Poojary, raising the total number of arrests in the case to eight.
Police sources say they are looking for another three men who are believed to be involved in the murder.
Poojary died on October 9 in Moodbidri, about 40 kilometres from Mangaluru, after he was attacked at a market place by six men.
Moodbidri, a communally sensitive part of the state, is calm now, but police are on the alert not only here, but also in Suratkal, Bajpe, Bantwal and Karkala in the same district.
