Bangalore:
Two persons died today when a goodstrain collided with a lorry at a railway gate inDevanahalli taluk in the district, police said today.
The drivers of the goods train and lorry died on the spotafter the train engine crashed into the front portion of alorry while crossing the unmanned railway gate atYaradaganahalli, Inspector R Govindaraju said.
The train driver has been identified as Somashekhar (34)and the other deceased is yet to be identified, Govindarajusaid. Somashekar was a resident of Chennai, he added.
A case has been registered.
