Shimoga:
A labourer of Bhadravathi town threw his two daughters in the Bhadra River flowing near his house, police said here today.
The deceased, identified as Pallvai (6) and Jaya (7), were studying in the first standard at a government residential school at Megur village near Bhadravathi and had come to their house for vacation, police sources told PTI.
Their bodies were recovered today.
According to police, the labourer Kumar used to quarrel with his wife regularly and has been arrested.
