Bangalore:
Divya (29), an HR Assistant at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited was found hanging in room at a PG centre on Railway Parallel Road in Kumara Park West on Tuesday.
It is suspected that her parents forcing her to get married might have led her to take the extreme step.
Divya, had gone to her hometown in Kerala a few days ago and her parents had seen a boy for her. However, she did not want to marry the boy and had shared this with her roommates after returning to Bangalore three days ago.
On Tuesday, she did not go to work and was found hanging in her room in the evening. The body has been shifted to Bowring Hospital mortuary and Sheshadripuram police have registered a case.
