Bangalore: Police today claimed to have busted a prostitution racket at two different places in the city and arrested seven persons besides seizing Rs 4000.
The seven were nabbed by the City Crime Branch team during raids conducted yesterday, a City Crime Branch statement said.
Two others allegedly involved in the racket are absconding and hunt is on to trace them.
Meanwhile, police in a statement said three chain snatchers were taken into custody during raids conducted in 18 police station limits.
The police team also rounded up 152 history-sheeters and after issuing them a stern warning, released them, it added.
