Karnataka is likely to get rainfall today, officials said.
The weatherman has forecast rain and thundershowers at many places in the coastal region and a few places in the interior parts of the state.

On Wednesday, widespread rainfall occurred across coastal areas, south interior Karnataka and parts of the Malnad region as the monsoon advanced.
Bengaluru city and HAL Airport recorded 6.8 mm and 1.2 mm of rainfall respectively.
On Wednesday, Bengaluru recorded a maximum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, and a minimum of 21.2 degrees Celsius, which is slightly above the season's average.
