The fourth person who has serious injuries is recovering in the hospital.
Kochi:
Three labourers were killed and one seriously injured when a truck ploughed through them in Kerala's Kochi last night. The victims were contractual workers with the Kochi metro and were near the Muttam Yard where they were working the night shift when a speeding vehicle hit them. All four were rushed to the hospital.
While two of them were declared brought dead, the third died at the hospital. The fourth person who has serious injuries is recovering in the hospital.
Police say the vehicle is yet to be identified and CCTV footage is being examined. "The driver did not stop the lorry or the truck after hitting the men. We are trying locate the vehicle. The four men seem to be from Uttar Pradesh," a police source said.
