About 80 persons were admitted to a hospital today in Thiruvananthapuram for suspected food poisoning after having food at a temple ceremony, officials said.
Meanwhile, the officials have said that their condition was not serious.
State Health Minister V Sivakumar visited those admitted at the Medical College Hospital and said necessary arrangements had been made to provide treatment to them.
The reasons that caused food poisoning would be examined, Mr Sivakumar said.
