Thiruvananthapuram: Taking a serious view of problems caused by stray dogs in the state, Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee today asked the government to convene an all-party meeting to come up with a solution.
In a letter to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, KPCC President VM Sudheeran said urgent steps are needed to end the street dog menace as it has assumed 'alarming proportions.'
"People of the state are finding it difficult to walk on public roads due to the threat posed by stray dogs", he said.
A permanent solution to end this menace has to be worked out, he said.
