Kannur:
A crude bomb was hurled at a BJP office in Kerala's Kannur today, a day after a young worker of the party was killed by a group that broke into his home.
Police have registered a case against unidentified people over the attack in Kannur's Thalassery that took place after midnight today.
The bomb squad has been called in to investigate the attack.
Yesterday police questioned at least eight suspects, reported to be sympathisers of the CPI-M and a case of murder has been filed against them for the killing of the 27-year-old Sujith in Kannur.
Kannur, in Northern Kerala has emerged into a bloody conflict zone between the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh or RSS and the Communist Party of India-Marxist or CPI-M, with murders and revenge killings abutting attempts by both parties to appropriate large chunks of each other's cadres.
