Kalpetta: A tiger, which had caused scare among locals in Krishnagiri area in Wayanad district,was caught in a trap laid by forest and wildlife officials.
The five-year-old male tiger had been creating panic in Krishnagiri area since the last two days, forest officialssaid.
The tiger was trapped in a cage set by the officials in a coffee plantation, they said, adding that the animal was laterreleased into Wayanad wildlife sanctuary.
