The Kerala Assembly was today adjourned indefinitely after a protest by Opposition Left Democratic Front (LDF) demanding resignation of Finance Minister KM Mani led to chaos in the House.
The LDF leaders also took out a procession demanding Mr Mani's resignation.
The Opposition leaders began their protest as soon as the House convened, demanding action against the lawmakers of ruling United Democratic Front (UDF) for the ruckus during Mr Mani's Budget speech on March 13. The LDF leaders alleged that ruling pary's lawmakers misbehaved with women MLAs.
The LDF leaders entered the Well of the House, leading to the suspension of Question House. The Speaker later suspended the Assemby indefinitely.
