Kerala Government to Expand Anti-Drug Drive in Schools, Colleges

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala government has decided to expand the ambitious 'clean campus safe campus' drive, envisaged to keep school and college students away from drugs.

State Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said in Thiruvananthapuram today that all educational institutions, including schools and colleges in the state would be brought under scanner as part of the drive.

He was inaugurating the state-level campaign regarding International Day against Drug Abuse, organised by state police at VJT Hall in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Minister said a short film, featuring Malayalam superstar Mammootty, the brand ambassador of the 'clean campus safe campus drive', is under progress and it would be screened in all schools and colleges soon.
