Amid reports of differences between Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president VM Sudheeran and Chief Minister Oommen Chandy over reconstitution of party committees, the former today met party vice president Rahul Gandhi to apprise him about the political situation in the state.
"I met Congress president Sonia Gandhi yesterday. Today I met Rahul Gandhi also and apprised him of the political situation in Kerala," Mr Sudheeran told reporters in New Delhi.
The KPCC chief also said that he did not have any difference the Chief Minister or Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala over reshuffle of district committee presidents.
"There are no such major issues. If there are some minor issues that can be sorted out... There is no political differences, no crisis and nothing of that kind," he said.
Noting that the reconstitution of party committees is a continuous process, he claimed that it was almost over from the block to booth level.
