Kozhikode: Kerala Press Academy will honourfive veteran journalists for their contributions to the mediasector, N P Rajendran, Chairman, Kerala Press Academy, saidhere.
Speaking to mediapersons today, Rajendran said ChiefMinister Oommen Chandy would give away the awards at afunction to be held on April 25.
The five journalists are B R P Bhaskar, K G ParameswaranNair, G Priyadarshan, T V Achutha Warrier and renownedphotographer M P Poulose.
The Academy has plans to set up a media museum, for whichthe draft had already been prepared, he said, adding,government had also earmarked Rs two lakh in the budget forit.
