Three percussion artistes killed, 11 injured in mishap

Kottayam: Three percussion artistes were killed and 11 injured when the van they were travelling in, fell into a gorge at Ottiyetti bordering Idukki district.

All the injured have been hospitalised.

A total of 24 percussion artistes from Muhamma in Alappuzha were returning home in the van after a performance at Pullikkanam when the mishap occurred, police said.
