Kolkata:
70 Air India passengers who were scheduled to fly to Kolkata from Bagdogra in West Bengal today have been stranded.
The Air India flight from Kolkata to Bagdogra could not land yesterday due to bad weather.
The passengers claim the airline did not inform them about the situation earlier, and told them they could not fly only after they had reached the airport.
Air India has now also cancelled today's flight from Kolkata to Badgogra due to bad weather. An Air India official said passengers stranded at Bagdogra will be given hotel accommodation.
The airline says it will try and operate a bigger flight tomorrow to fly out passengers stranded over the last two days.
