Kolkata:
A bus, carrying 40 passengers, fell into a roadside ditch at Raidighi in South 24-Parganas district in West Bengal, around 50 kilometres from the state capital Kolkata. At least nine people, including three children were seriously injured in the mishap.
The police said the bus was going to Diamond Harbour from Raidighi when the accident took place. There are no reports of any casualty in the incident.
The injured people were rushed to a hospital in Raidighi.
The rescue work has been continuing, sources said.
