Three people were killed and another was injured when a fire broke out on the second floor of a building at Metiabruz area in Kolkata today.
The fire which broke out in a cloth manufacturing unit on the second floor of the building at Haji Ratan Lane in Metiabruz at 2:10 am has been doused, police and fire brigade sources said.
The bodies of the three victims were recovered and the injured, identified as 17-year-old Maidual Islam, was admitted to the SSKM hospital, they said.
Officials said the cause of the fire would be investigated.
