Kolkata: Thirty one Youth Congress activists were today arrested while staging a demonstration here to seek resignation of chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, owning moral responsibility for death of seven villagers at Netai.
They were arrested in front of the Writers' Building, the seat of power of the Left Front government, for defying prohibitory orders.
