Kolkata: Fire broke out at a fan godown at Chitpur area in the city today, Fire Brigade sources said.
Four tenders were sent to the godown at Kali Prasanna Singhi Road and the firefighters brought the flames under control within 30 minutes, the sources said.
There was no report of any casualty, the sources said.
The exact loss of damage to the property would be ascertained after a probe by the management, the sources said.
A short circuit was believed to be the cause of the fire that broke out at around 9.50am.
