Fog and low visibility has delayed about 20 flights at the Kolkata airport, where operations have been closed since 5 am today. The flights have now resumed.
Airport authorities have said visibility has improved and operations will begin soon.
Visibility was 75 metres in the morning. It is 400 metres right now. A minimum visibility of 350 metres is required for flights to operate.
